The City of Woodward Department of Civil Defense has the statutory responsibility to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and man-made disasters and large-scale emergencies. The department's staff provides a number of services to our community and to our first responders in Woodward, the State of Oklahoma, and FEMA Region 6.
